Launching a domain, home page, blog, photo gallery…

Welcome to the brand new ttahko.net! If you haven’t already, go check out my new home page.

I decided to register a domain of my own for it, the plan is that it will be static as long as I roam the Internet. And what better reason to start a new blog as well. My old one, which will cease to exist, was mainly about matters philosophical, conference reports and such. While philosophy will certainly be the main theme of this blog as well, I aim to post more general updates about what I am up to here and perhaps about my other interests as well, such as literature, music, comedy, IT and photography. Incidentally, I have also integrated a photo gallery to the new domain, which will be updated during the next weeks, and where I will post my photos in the future. Finally, the new home page includes an up to date CV as well and a list of my published papers and work in progress with abstracts and pdfs of the papers.

In other news, I’m enjoying the Easter holiday here in Durham and trying to get some work done. Some real updates will follow shortly! Comments on any aspect of ttahko.net are most welcome!

Hi there, hyvää pääsiäistä, onnittelut uudesta sivusta! Näyttää hyvältä (blogi tosin latautui vähän verkkaisesti), millä toteutit?

Hei, hyvää pääsiäistä sinnekin! Blogi on WordPressin päällä, mutta teema on graafisesti aika raskas. Toivottavasti latautuu nopeammin ensi kerralla.

    Hey Tuomas,
Just to let you know someone other than family has already checked out your new site. The photos are awesome as always. I must find some new descriptive words or expressions . I think my admiration of your photos is starting to sound repetitive. Happy Easter , whats left of it. ‘ Mick the STICK ‘

Good to know Mick, thanks for checking it out!
I thought that the photos would be more representable like this than in Facebook, I’ll try to keep it updated, cheers!
